Ronald A. Karp

Founder and Portfolio Manager

Ron Karp is our founder and serves as co-portfolio manager. Ron has over 30 years of experience in the alternative investments and pension consulting sectors. He founded the firm in 1980 (then known as Ronald A. Karp Associates, Inc.) to provide pension consulting services to institutional clients. Prior to that, Ron was Director of the fund consulting practice for Hay Associates. He began his career as an actuary with Mutual of New York and also served as Vice President and research analyst at Dean Witter. Ron received his undergraduate degree in engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Masters in Business and Applied Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
