Accounting and Financial Reporting

Mike Shankman joined the firm in 2004 and is responsible for accounting and financial reporting and operational due diligence. Prior to SPI, Mike worked in public accounting for 7 years as a manager with Meisel, Tuteur & Lewis, PC, concentrating on both audit and tax services for alternative investment funds. Mike received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Vermont. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
