Jeffrey M. Karp

President, Portfolio Manager and Investment Manager Research

Jeff Karp serves as SPI's President. Jeff joined SPI in 1994 to focus on manager research and developing the firm's fund-of-hedge-fund partnerships. He has been portfolio manager and has overseen all aspects of investment manager research since 2000. Shortly thereafter, he took the lead in developing the fund-of-hedge-fund business presiding over manager research and due diligence, client services and business development. Jeff began his career with The Boston Company and was a research analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein Company. Jeff received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Jeff is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
